FQ&FG - Meetings

Monthly Guild Meetings:

Our general meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the:

Folsom Community Center
52 Natoma Street
Folsom, CA 95630

Each meeting features:

A short business meeting.
A program featuring a quilt or fiber artist, activities for guild members or entertainment.
Workshops are normally held the day after the guild meeting. The Program Chairs accept registration and payments for future workshops at the guild meetings.
Show and Tell - Members show quilts, garments, or other fiber items they have made or acquired, and tell the stories behind them.
Block of the Month - Each month a block of the month kit is made available to guild members (and guests) . The member (or guest) makes the block and returns it at the following meeting. Those who complete a block by the next meeting are then eligible to win a group of blocks.
Pot of Gold - The Pot of Gold Committee provides gifts at each general meeting to help raise money for the guild.
Cuddle Quilts - Cuddle Quilt kits can be picked up at each meeting and completed cuddle quilts can be turned in at each meeting. The cuddle quilts are donated to individuals and organizations in need.
Trash and Treasure - A table is always made available at the guild meetings for members to bring in sewing, quilt and craft items they no longer want. Members can take whatever they'd like from this table. Members who drop anything off at this table are responsible for taking any of their items left on this table at the end of the meeting back home or throwing it away.

* Members - Please remember to wear your name tags at all meetings. Members not wearing a name tag will be asked to donate 25¢ to the Guild.
