Membership

Membership in our guild is limited to 250 active members. We are currently full, but we do maintain a waiting list. If you would like to join, please attend one of our meetings as a guest ($3.00 fee per meeting) and add your name to the waiting list. Your name will be kept on the waiting list as long as you attend meetings as a guest at least once every 4 months.

Dues are as follows:

Inactive membership is only available to current active members who feel they will not be able to participate actively in the coming year. Inactive members can participate in the annual quilt show, attend workshops at the member rate, and move to the top of the waiting list if they choose to become active members again. Inactive members pay the $3.00 guest fee whenever they are able to attend meetings.

Active membership in the guild entitles you to:

• Attend monthly meetings free of charge.
• Receive our monthly newsletter free of charge.
• Utilize our extensive library of current quilting/fiber art books.
• Attend workshops given by well-known fiber artists at a very reasonable cost.
• Participate in guild challenges such as the Wearable Art Challenge and the 5-Block Challenge.
• Enter your work in our annual quilt show.
• Submit an application to attend guild biannual retreats.
• Receive discounts at local quilt shops.
