Guild Raffle Quilt:

Each year our talented members make a beautiful Raffle quilt. The quilt is displayed at local quilt shops and other locations during the fall and winter months and raffle tickets are sold.  Guild members also sell tickets to support this effort.  The individual of the winning ticket is announced on the last day of our annual quilt show in February.  You do not need to be present to win.  All ticket sales benefit the Folsom Quilt & Fiber Guild, who in turn support many local charities.

Volunteer to Travel the Raffle Quilt:

We're asking all members to give a little of their time to travel the Raffle Quilt this year.  Please step up and assist with our effort to take the quilt to our local quilt guilds.  We're asking everyone to do their part as this will also advertise our 2012 Quilt Show.  Contact Denise Tharaldson to sign up.

Additionally, we're looking for secure business locations (e.g. banks, clinics, etc.) which have a good amount of foot traffic where we can park the quilt unattended for several days at a time.  The thought behind this is to garner publicity for the Quilt Show (not to sell quilt raffle tickets).  Quilt Show postcards would be displayed with the quilt for people to take as a reminder of the upcoming show.  If you know of a business where we could safely "park" the quilt, please notify either Janet Becker or Anne Ross.
