For several years now the Folsom Quilt Guild has gone on a retreat to Zephyr Point, a fabulous facility on Lake Tahoe owned by the Presbyterian Church.  It's a fabulous place to relax!  The first retreat was held May 23-26, 2000.

All of the women who attended the first retreat (shown in the above photo) raved about the trip when they returned.  The guild is now holding the retreat twice a year.  Highlights of the retreats include:

• Sewing, quilting and visiting for 5 days.....a welcome respite for all the attendees.  Some do some sewing, some do more visiting.....all enjoy the camaraderie and warmth of the group.  Dobbins Hall, which is used for sewing, has plenty of space so no one feels crowded, plenty of outlets for all the machines, irons, and plenty of light.
• A visit, or two, to nearby quilt shops is always a must.
• The cafeteria has delicious food in very generous quantities - no one has to cook!
